Coquet Chocolates

Coquet Chocolates are made in the beautiful market town of Rothbury in Northumberland. Inspiration is taken from the amazing high hills, tumbling rivers and the incredible tranquil atmosphere. The chocolates are all made by hand, with love and care, using local ingredients whenever possible.
Chocolate bars and individual chocolates can be found in deli’s and specialist shops in Northumberland. They supply a large range of bars in exciting and tempting flavours, such as geranium, violet, lime sea salt, salted caramel and many more. If there is something you would specifically want, they are willing to make and experiment to get your favourite flavour combination.

Chocolates and truffles can be anything you want from simple fresh mint to Black Rory Whisky or an exotic cocktail flavour. Their unique brand of ‘Clarts’ are an indulgence to enjoy whatever your mood. They use luxury fruit and nuts enrobed in the finest quality Belgian chocolate, dolloped into a round shape called clarts, giving locals and visitors a unique flavour and experience of Northumbrian words and taste. ‘Clart’ – Northumbrian dialect for a lump of mud – usually on your boots! When I was a bairn, my grandmother would shout ‘get your clarty feet off the sofa’.
