Post Office House - Belford


A warm welcome awaits you at Grade II Listed Post Office House (clue is in the name!), built in 1893 was Belford’s post office until closure and relocation in 2014. It also housed its own sorting office and telegraph facilities until the 1960’s.

The Post Office House opened as a bed and breakfast in 2016 and offer elegant, luxurious and comfortable guest accommodation, all bedrooms are en-suite with two doubles (one ground floor) and a twin. 

They have private off-road parking and a quiet, tranquil garden where guests can relax in the summer months. They are passionate about supporting the local economy and love to be able to provide their guests with wonderful Northumbrian produce, making up their award-winning breakfasts, which include Craster Kippers and Carters 'Bamburgh Banger’ sausages.

They are perfectly located and a stone’s throw away from the stunning North Northumberland coast, Bamburgh, Holy Island and Farne Islands, with the historic towns of Alnwick and Berwick-upon-Tweed only 20 minutes by car or bus. They are very proud to be awarded a Four Star Gold and breakfast award by the AA three months after opening and more recently, a Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor.
